Philly Market Street Book Expo

Just For Us Girls with friends at SUAVV and Color Me Curvy Magazine would like to invite you to the 1st Annual Philly Market Street Book Expo (PMSBE).
Our theme is “Empowering a New Generation Through Pages.” The expo will be held at Independence Center in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The PMSBE was created to encourage our communities to become avid readers through families and friends reading together. This event will be filled with entertainment, information, reading material, workshops and activities for everyone.
Tentative Highlighted Activities:  Authors only Pre- Expo Network Party, Authors & Publishers Breakfast and Fun Children’s Storytelling Luncheon.  Some of the Various Panelists and Workshops are: DIY Workshops, Blogging Your Book, Social Media Made Easy, DIY Marketplace with representative from Create space and  Kindle Direct Publishing and Making a Book App for iPhone, just to name a few.
We have created three levels of participating to fit into various budgets:
___ Featured Author Space:  book signing time to address audience, exclusive interview with media sponsors SUAVV Magazine and A Good Life Blog talk radio, premier space at expo(table & chair provided), lunch, business card size listing in program book, listing and/or logo on promo material, 30 second promo on website and listing on LCD screen at entrance.
___ Author Space:  space at expo (table & chair provided), lunch and listing in program book.
___Just Space:  you bring you own table and chairs, we provide the space.
*Exhibit fee includes Friday night Reception (Aug 12), tickets to About Your Biz workshop and Pre- Expo networking event and listing in program booklet. There are 40 slots available for EARLY REGISTRATION – Feature Author rate is $150 – Publisher/Bookstore rate is $200 – Other Vendor rate is $250 until June 15, 2011.   We are also looking for panelist and workshop presenters. 

No personal checks will be accepted. The preferred method of payment is online PayPal After June 15th 2011, all standard fees will apply.   There will be no refunds and no concessions.

PMSBE Participant Confirmation & Booking: Upon receipt of your reservation, your information will be reviewed and if approved you will receive confirmation of payment and exhibit table reservation code via email.  Please ensure all of your contact information is accurate and complete.   You are also responsible for ensuring we have the correct information for your exhibit table i.e.: table/name card, etc.  We must receive by the deadline or your reservation will be forfeited.
