Intelligent, beautiful, and charismatic, she is always the life of the party enjoying the night life that Atlanta has to offer.  Even though she is faced on a daily basis with jealousy and drama from family and friends, this does not stop Chelle from achieving her dream, and graduating from college.
On her way to this prestigious occasion, demons from her boyfriend Chip’s past resurfaces, during a routine traffic stop changing her life forever.  As the drama, secrets, and lies become unraveled, Chelle is faced with a deadly ultimatum.  This faced paced, novel will show how the underlying loyalty of an up and coming diva, is challenged making her display her true face of the game.
Excerpt:
5…4…3…2…1…Happy New Years!  The crowd sang in unison at Club 112 of Atlanta, Georgia.  All of the ballers, gangsters, good fellas, and good girls who like bad guys were there.  The DJ played the hottest jams, everything from old school hip hop and R&B to new school tunes.  The line outside was still wrapped around the building; cars were still entering the parking lots surrounding the club.
Mandi Mac Cover PicAmanda was born in Queens, NY to Mr. and Mrs. Vincent McRae Sr. on September 28th 1985.  A few years later, they moved to Winston-Salem, NC where she was raised.  At the tender age of seven, Amanda knew she wanted to be a writer she would write poetry and frame her work and give it as gifts for holidays.  By Middle School, Amanda had set out her dream to work towards being a journalist and one day owning her own magazine.  She started writing for the school newspaper and yearbook, she wrote for the schools morning news and she wrote poetry in her spare time.  She continued writing for the Yearbook in High School and even wrote for the newspaper in College.She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University on May 10th with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Writing.  She is currently a Marketing Consultant at YP – The Yellow Pages, in addition she does freelance writing and social media for small businesses.Although Amanda was very focused and content with her goals and dreams, she faced a lot of adversity.  Throughout her years, she learned a lot about love, loyalty, jealousy and defeat and she has learned how to handle anything that comes her way with style and grace.

Q: What Authors have inspired you along the way?A: Nikki Turner, Sister Souljah, Terri Woods, Joyce Meyer, James Patterson, Mark Twain, J.K. Rowling, Jack Canfield, and so many more.Q: What were your favorite childhood books?A:  American Girl, Babysitters Club, and Goosebumps.

Q:  Is this your first novel?  If so, do you plan to write more books?

A:  This is my first novel, I plan to write a sequel and possibly a part 3.

Q:  Do you plan to continue writing books once this series is complete?

A:  Yes, I plan to continue to write books.  I plan on writing as many books as possible.

Q:  How did you come up with the title?

A:  I was making the finishing touches on the book and it just came to me, I had an epiphany.

Q:  Is the experiences based on someone or people you know?

A:  Some of the personality traits are based off of close friends and family, but Faces of the Game is a fiction novel.

Q:  What is the hardest part about writing a book?

A:  Overcoming writers block and finishing it.

Q:  What do you wish to accomplish as an Author?

A:  I hope to create loyal fans that enjoy reading my books.
