Award Winning Author’s Tamika Newhouse and No’Cola Mitchell Hosts Books at the Brownstone:A Cocktail Affair during the annual Book Expo America

New York, NY. May 2012. Founder of Delphine Publications and two time African American Literary “Author of the Year” Award winner (’09 &’11) Tamika Newhouse set to celebrate the launch of the first novel in her new series with fellow author Ni’Cola Mitchell entitled He’s My Favorite Mistake at an all exclusive Harlem soiree. Ni’Cola Mitchell an African American Award winner and publisher of NCM Publishing have collaborated on a soon coming six book series. Providing the back drop for the ultimate real life urban tale, this invitation only event will be held at one of Harlem’s most historic fully restored brownstone that picturesque tree lined streets of Harlem have to offer. Hosting literary and publishing luminaries who have descended on New York for the annual BEA Convention, partners Newhouse and Mitchell will celebrate the presenting of their new increasingly popular black fiction series that will intertwine characters from both authors’ popular novels. Two lucky fans will also have the chance to join Newhouse, the roster of Delphine Publishing authors and invited guests during the evening cocktail affair via a Twitter based contest.“I love to include our readers when Delphine has the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our growing company,” says Newhouse. “The past year has been incredible for Delphine and the careers of our authors. I look forward to sharing our joy with like-minded professionals during the most important event of the year in the literary industry.”Highlights of the evening include a DJ, complementary cocktails, a first look at the new novel and a private viewing of the latest collection contemporary African-American painter artist Freddy O.
