Renown actor and filmmaker, Tommy Ford, plays the role of Avery Brooks. Tommy tell us about your role in The Heart Television Show.
Avery Brooks is a Civil Rights attorney, along the lines of Julian Bond. My character is a loving father and husband, who has a commanding presence! However, my family has been divided for several years. In season 2 of The Heart, my son James turns to me for guidance. I see this as an opportunity to not only give my son the direction needed in his professional life, but his love life as well. Feeling loved and needed by my son is more rewarding than any business success that my character has ever accomplished!
Tremayne Norris, plays the dangerous and conniving David Holt.
Tremayne, how would you describe your role?
I’ve never been skydiving, but I’d imagine it would be as exhilarating as playing David Holt. Taking the plunge, free-falling into character everyday on and letting the gravity of the script take control. It was an adrenaline rush that I was fortunate enough to experience.
